“60 Years of Goodwill for Huntingdon Drama Club”

2004 saw 60 years of drama in Huntingdon, celebrated by hosting a Variety Show on Saturday 16th October in aid of the Mayor of Huntingdon’s Charities.

“Bobby Dazzler” was a huge success and Huntingdon Drama Club raised a total of £848.52 for the Stroke Association and the Bobby Scheme.

The cheque for the amount raised in aid of the charities was presented to the Mayor outside Town Council Offices on Monday 13th December.

 The variety show was staged at the Commemoration Hall in Huntingdon to an audience of over a hundred people including such dignitaries as the Mayors & Mayoresses of Cambridge, March, Ely and Godmanchester.
